You are a teacher/member of the University of Würzburg and you want to invite an external user?

Send New account form to the external user, and let him do the following steps:

External User:

  1. Press the button -Create new account- and please follow the instructions.
  2. An email will be immediately sent to your email address.
  3. Read your email, and click on the web link to confirm the account.
  4. Send an email to your Teacher/Member to let him know, that your account is now valid.
  1. select the course you want to participate in the external user.
  2. enrol the external user manually.

The user account registration as an external user (via e-mail) must not be used by students of the University of Würzburg!
If, by using your JMU-account (s123456 for example), you can login into WueStudy but not into WueCampus, you probably did not activate your JMU-account yet. To check this, please follow these instructions.

Freshmen: Only access to WueStudy, but not WueCampus, Webmailer or PCs inside the library?

As a new student you have to activate your JMU-account (s123456 for example) before being able to use it to its full extent. To do this, please follow the instructions given in the e-mail with the subject "Akzeptieren der Nutzungsbedingungen". This e-mail was sent to your private e-mail address.

If you can't find this e-mail, please also check your junk folder for an e-mail with the subject "Akzeptieren der Nutzungsbedingungen". If you still can't find it, please get in touch with the WueStudy team via their e-mail address wuestudy@uni-wuerzburg.de to request a new one.
When you've found the e-mail:
Don't activate your student account using your smart phone, please use a laptop or computer instead. (On smart phones, the link sometimes gets wrapped. It then only leads to the WueStudy login page, not to the activation page.)
For a successful activation, you mustn't be logged in into WueStudy. We suggest to first close your browser, then open the mail again. Only afterwards follow the link.
If you encounter problems during this process (using your computer or laptop), please copy the link from the e-mail an open it manually in your web browser (copy & paste).
Everything is going according to plan, if (after opening the link) the activation page is displayed, where you only have to fill in your date of birth and afterwards accept the terms of usage.
After (at the latest) four hours, your user account gets activated and you can start to use WueCampus, Webmailer or the computers in the library.
If you encounter problems or if you have got any questions, feel free to contact the WueStudy support team. Please don't contact the IT-Support or WueCampus support about activation issues.
