    • Dear Students,

      Welcome to the demo course "Humanitarian Supply Chain Management". In this demo, you will have access to the first chapter of the actual course. To participate in the actual course, please register for the course via the "Virtuelle Hochschule Bayern" (www.vhb.org)!

      The course will provide you with a basic understanding of factors influencing humanitarian supply chains and fundamental insights in managing them efficiently and effectively. You will learn about the different roles of humanitarian organizations and the challenges they face. Furthermore, you will be introduced to general supply chain management concepts that can also be applied in the humanitarian context, which can significantly impact the organization of humanitarian operations.

      The course is structured into nine chapters:
